Aegean Airlines operate their inaugural twice weekly flight from Athens to Birmingham Airport‏

Aegean Airlines celebrated their first flight from Birmingham to Athens which took off on Tuesday
10 June 2014 - the seasonal route will operate twice a week on Tuesday and Saturday....

.... Airbus A320-232 SX-DVS which operated the inaugural flight from Athens was greeted
to a traditional water canon salute by the Birmingham Airport Fire Service

The flights from Birmingham to Athens will be operated using Airbus A320 168 seat aircraft
providing both Business and Economy Class seating and providing a full service offering to
all passengers, which includes complimentary food and drink

The cockpit crew prepare for the return flight to Athens - Aegean Airlines, a member of Star Alliance,
is Greece's largest airline providing premium quality short and medium haul services from Athens
The twice weekly flights will be operated with the following schedule:
